Hi all,
Heard a thud on my kitchen flat roof and then saw a nottled brownish bird jump down.
It's a woodcock and it's been sitting nestled whilst camouflaged for the past 1 hour. I note that they normally are found in wooded areas - we've had a lot of tree felling here so I wonder if that's why the bird has made its way into my back patio.
