We have lots of bird feeders in the garden and this year we’ve had an abundance of small birds. We had bluetits, greattits, long tailed tits 4 pairs of sparrows and a couple of robins. Then all the tits that had been there since last year, all over winter and early spring disappeared. Is this purely likely to be that they didn’t want to nest near my garden so all went somewhere else? The sparrows have all had babies and are on the feeders every day but I’ve not seen a single one of the others. Any ideas?
