Injured wood pigeon by marine drive before coming up to the round about

Hi there

There is an injured wood pigeon by the side of the road. Looks conscious but a bit bleeding. Doesnt love the legs bit can move the wings.

we are on our bikes so cant take him to care.

Hi, I am no expert but in my opinion I doubt very much anyone would be able or willing to take a Woodpigeon in at this time of the year as there will be so many young birds requiring much needed attention and more bird that are in decline would take priority .
Best just leave nature be in this instance I would think.
Hopefully others more experienced than me will be able to offer more helpful information

Hi Maria,

It may help to state which part of the country you're in. I am unable to help unfortunately as I'm looking after an abandoned house sparrow chick.
Hopefully someone can help before night fall and predators intervene?
