House sparrow

Hi all I'm new to the group.

We have a bird box which coal tits have nested, laid 9 eggs and 9 hatched, however a house sparrow is trying to take over the nest, it got in and attacked and killed 2 of the chick's, how can I help so that the chick's don't get attacked again, would it be beneficial for me to put another bird box up?

It would seem both blue tits are visiting regularly now so I guess they have hatched babies

I hope your coal tits thrive - they’re lovely little birds!
I have a pair of robins that I love to feed but sparrows are becoming a problem for us they are clearly nesting in a few neighbours guttering/roof cavities- none in ours as far as we can tell but I’m certainly changing the way I feed now thanks to some advice on here, though I don’t know how to get food to our robins
