Just reading similar threads - any help .Rescued a fledgling black bird from an attacking crow - parents we present and making a commotion . Thankfully BB is ok but I haven’t seen the parents and I’ve tried to feed the BB ( cautiously) a small worm with tweezers and it wants and opens mouth but then hops off and starts calling for parents again . I don’t want to intervene where unnecessary but is this little one likely to have been abandoned? How long will it take for the parents to return ? Can I put down some wet puppy food ?
