Can anyone offer any suggestions? Yesterday I heard a bird song/call that was just 2 notes, in musical terms a rising perfect 5th. I have listened to all the songs in my ‘Chirp’ app and can’t identify the bird.
Hi Lizzie, I think you're going to have to give a bit more information if we are to have any chance of identifying it. For example, what was the habitat and in what part of the country? Did it sound like a small bird like a tit or something larger with a lower pitch? Being totally unmusical I've no idea what "a rising perfect 5th" means. I'm not familiar with the Chirp app but the trouble with a lot of these apps is that they don't give full repertoire of some birds.
