Today I found three baby swallows that had come out of the nest in the high roof of the stable. Exactly the same best where I had a similar incident last year. Two babies were alive one was sadly dead. I can’t reach the high nest to put them back so I’ve put the babies on a lower ledge near to the nest on some sawdust. One over has now sadly died but the other is still alive. Is there anything else I can do to save the final swallow?
You could call a Wildlife rehaabilitater for the one that’s still alive? https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/wildlife/orphanedanimals/babybirds/swiftsandswallows
https://www.bwrc.org.uk/rehabilitators/
they might be able to give you advise on what to do or take it in for you and do what they can to try and help it?
