  Many thanks for this. I've chosen the one Joanne has and I've ordered some 3000 mah Lithium batteries for it. The quality of the camera looks great and looking at reviews it appears that it does take an external supply so I'll be ordering one of these too.

  Not as far as I know. Mine is battery only but I’m sure there are mains one out there, I’m sure someone will be able to recommend a mains wildlife cam. I move mine around the garden so mains is no good for my usage.

  Hi Joanne. I got the one you had and it does have an option for mains supply. It’s on the bottom left as you look at the front of the camera and is protected by a rubber cap.
