Just bought the new book by Dominic Couzens called "A Patch made in Heaven" and it seems like good reading.Basicly it is a years birding on Dominics local patch and makes a nice contrast to the usual birding tales of twitching all over the country or even globe. Those among us who spend a large amount of our birding time on our local patch will feel quite at home with this book.As well as some humour in the writing there is some nice line drawings and it will make a nice read for those times when you cannot get out birding.Certainly worth putting on your reading wish list for birthdays or special occasions.
