Got a very nice belated birthday present at the weekend,a copy of David Lindo's book The Urban Birder.I have only read the first couple of chapters but I am finding it quite interesting Davids birding areas compared to mine which is in the countryside. It just shows that you do not have to be deep in the country to enjoy birds, they are everywhere for us to enjoy.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
I follow TUB's blog: http://urbanitybirder.blogspot.com/. Not got round to buying the book yet, but probably will sooner or later. It's good to hear it's a good read.

Just finished reading it the other day,it certainly gives a candid insight into Davids rise to birding fame
