Welcome back everyone, the site upgrade has so far been successful and we have brought it back online early! Hopefully you will all be able to have a good look round and get a feel for the new layout.
When you get to the Community home page you will notice the blue bar along the top, most categories on this have drop down menus which will lead you to the various forums and blogs related to the specific topics. All of the original content will still be accessible but you may notice a few things have been moved around and will look slightly different. We will be explaining these changes as we go over the next few days.
Feel free to post away and we hope that you will enjoy using the new site!

I tried to edit the above post but got the server error page. I wanted to say the "quote" hasn't highlighted correctly!
Cheers, Linda.

Do I need new specs? Gallery is the key work here :) you can't add to the forums from there, or at least i cant see a way either It's both what you do and the way that you do it! You're doing better than me Sparrow. I can't even find the galleries. I thought I knew where they were but I've got lost again. Nightmare !!

The 'New post' button may well not be showing, but our techies are on the case, so watch this space. Stick with it folks, we're getting there, you're all doing brilliantly!
Hi Doggie,
Thanks, but I know where the galleries are - hidden away in a ridiculous place - but there is no way of posting a photo once you find it!!
Thanks Mrs. T.
Glad it's not my eye sight LOL

Thanks mpiekp. It is the Galleries I'm referring to. Posting a pic on the forum is the same as before. It's the Galleries where it's impossible at the moment.

Follow what I wrote above :)
The "New Post" button has just arrived by magic. It was not there 10 minutes ago.
Doggie is right. It only allows you to upload from another website as it requires a URL. This is of no use to me whatsoever. I have no intention of uploading all my pics to Flickr or similar just in order to post them in the RSPB galleries. I am sure I'm not alone in this.
