Here he/she is again. This owl hunts in like a grid fashion in the field. He hunts by day in the spring with its partner. I live in the north east of Scotland. He gets real close. He is amazing to watch, I was watching him for months before I even thought to photograph him. I will try for more shots although I don't see him so much just now. Im sure he will be back in the spring. Sometimes the seagulls chase him, a gang of then will chase him, as a spectator I get the impression this humours the owl as he seems to let them get close then does a manoeuvre they cannot compete with. This Owl gets extremely close to me. I consider myself very lucky to be honoured by his visits.
