Spotted this Comma Butterfly in my garden the other day, beautiful.
I had one too!! Oh joy... they are so extraordinary. No butterflies now though. Three Red Admirals were hoovering up a late meal on my Buddleia later on in September. Now October and my garden looks bleak of insects. But the birds are coming back.
