Redwings

Hi eveyone. I am new to this community but wanted to share my joy at my first sighting of redwings in my garden. They were busy tucking into the small fruits on my neighbours tree. Thank goodness they do little pruning otherwise I may never have had these lovely visitors. There is so much snow on the ground still.

Can they be encouraged to feed from the ground or do they stay predominantly in the trees and bushes?
