Not sure how long this account will last but here goes....
My first visit of 2024, weather was supposed to be clear blue skies but sadly was nothing but clouds, so these will be not much more than record shots.
I arrived just before 07:30 so was still fairly dark.
TRF was the first to arrive around 07:40 and landed on one of the spires on the tower.

shortly after Mrs P arrived carrying breakfast and landed on the south east corner ledge.

Himself brings breakfast, she very gently takes it from him and blocks view of her feeding them
then she flies off with remains and soon back
4th feed of the day ends in a food coma
She was on the far side of box, then not sure if she /he flew off with it but soon back causing a big duvet to get to the food.
am sure Alan you will have a wonderful vid of this scenario
Typical teenagers abode...Ha!!! Must admit gave me quite a start as I thought the sides of the nestbox caved in...but all is well.
The chicks have been ringed this morning, there should be a blog to follow shortly.

VDD and VHD are males,
VNC Female
N.B
*Footnote: male VDD wears his darvic ring on his right leg and the letters read upwards.
The other two birds are ringed with left leg darvics which read down,

Yep Kate that's correct, weathers not great for this week but if there is a break I'm going to pop up and see if I can see them from across the road.
