Many thanks for the updates, Wendy and Kate!
All three owlets looking great as well at Lorton this evening. A lovely wing stretch from #3. #2 on the left, #1 at the front
#1 was preening
Just look at #2's facial disc -beautiful!
I forgot to add the latest DWT update to my post above
21st June
Some updates -
Len Pick: Awww...
Both have been in the back right corner so it's been difficult to capture their faces!
Lorton: L-R #1, #3 and #2 -
#1 front and #2
#3 at the back, #1 middle, #2 front
#1's tail, left
It will be interesting to find out their genders at ringing! #3 definitely male IMO, the older two only have a slight buff colour on their tails.
Lovely updates Sandra, many thanks Have been distracted making vids of nesting Swifts for a change!
7th July
Lorton: Latest update
Some random pics from today: #3 centre. With that dark eye mascara, in comparison to the older two, I was wondering if in fact it is a female and not male as I originally thought? They were watching a fly in the first 2 pics
#3 front
#3 at the back
Tail comparisons - #3 centre
The owlets have not been ringed.
I can't get the Len Pick cam
Well snapped and thanks for update Sandra.
.Len pick has been dodgy for a while, but strange if you cursor on the red line backwards you can see Two in the box,but I cant capture those images,or see the date as it is so small.
A pleasure, Kate.
Yes, very odd about the LP streaming!
Just spoke with LP, they obviously are aware and hope to be able to rectify over the winter, fingers crossed.
Thanks, Kate!
latest Len Pick.
