He removes remains , when he thinks they have had enough.

2 Chicks being fed ,Male brings early morning  feed , whilst Mum scoots off.looks as though 3rd egg still not hatched.

Thanks Alan for alert, I will check blog later, but this not looking good.Little ones crop apparently is normal, though first time I have seen.

Very sad news!

Yesterdays Blog reporting Sad news.

Not ready to dispose of dead chick yet.

Dad brings small prey, but not small enough for little one,he watches anxiously, with it stuck in its mouth and not happy till he sees MUm snatch it back and start to feed.

Nature taking its course surviving chick starting to peck the deceased, not sure if parents will take away or continue to feed .

Mum off after a stretch.

Did think it might have been recycled by now!

Yes removed about 09.33, after both did not waste what little nutrients,were in the little mite, I just hope that if it was an illness that caused its death will not now have been passed it on.
