Oh Dear Nature is so cruel,

Mum is still concerned and keeps nudging it in hope it will swallow,

Oh dear not looking good.

One of the other chicks had a good hold but didn't manage to dislodge it, Mum still checking it out! Have alerted the Nicks but nothing can be done!

yep I alerted Nicks and also saw chick trying to stand on offending leg but will not budge, assume mum must realise as well that it is stuck, maybe plling it would cause damage, ( thinking like fish hook)

All three strong and healthy this morning. Well done little chick for having strength to  dislodge or swallow offending leg..
