Dark headed pidge came back to eggs at 10.06 this morning, will have to wait & see if the other one, who was attacked, comes to changeover for incubation duty?

Nope, eggs alone
since latest departure, we wait and see. hope eggs still viable, if Owls allow continued incubation by Pidggies..

First Owl back, ignores eggs.

Feel so sad for those opportunist Pigeons, as Thwarted again for any offspring this year,

As I fear, now, even  with  this One Owl, been back and forth all night their eggs will now be unviable

.

The harshness of nature, survival of the fittest, and the way I see it, the pigeon is the intruder. But never a nice sight to see.

Every year, I have watched the pidgies, try but this is the first year I have seen them attempt a second lay, with only a few days to go to hatching,

We are so fortunate to be able to witness nature in all its ups and downs.
