As with the 2020 season, barn owls did not use the box for breeding in 2021, will this year be different?

Yes, I added some snaps
ENS
Just had a quick look at the cam to find the female 'shredding' prey. She picked it up and cached it before leaving the box
Is this another prey item or just a disturbance of the flooring? (arrowed)
There are some interesting pictures and comments, from the past few nights, that have been posted on the Disqus chat under the live streaming. There appears to be a different male on the scene (right eye fully open). These pics copied over. I wished I'd seen the events but these pics were posted at 2:10am (13.4.22)
Apparently, this was post-mating. Not sure which one was male or female
This morning. ENS. Prey item(s) have gone
Female in
I'll try to keep watch this evening.
Both in. Female at the back of the box
It is the original male
I'm wondering if the male, (shown above in the mating/kerfuffle pics I posted from the Disqus site), came into the box that night on the off chance and, with him not being her bonded partner, she realised this and entered into an altercation with him
ENS - I missed them exiting the box
It's such a shame this cam is not on YT with the scroll back capability!
Female waiting
She was breaking up pellets. I thought the female was eating at first in the front, left corner
Scraping at the flooring here as well
And out of the box
Back in. Resting after a few moments of preening
Calling
Back to resting
Signing off now. Goodnight
