Unfortunately, Barn Owls did not use this nest box last season. Here's hoping that this very much bonded pair of Barn Owls, who have been frequenting the box recently, decide to take up residency in 2021 and raise a healthy brood of owlets.
Thanks all( (not read back yer")doh!
Only One again this morning

Unknown said:possible side effects from the AZ vaccine.
Hi Ann
Pleased like Me You recovering, I was wondering if they had changed something in the AZ, as earlier(local) partakers, didn't appear to be so affected.Idid report my findings to the yellow card,as am sure this will help. As I said we just pray ,we become part of the Herd..to get on top of this....Grr!!!

Kate, regarding your comment, "I was wondering if they had changed something in the AZ", I do not think so. I think that AZ have not yet changed anything in their vaccine; the NHS is is still using the already-produced vaccine product and will continue to do so for some months because it provides a great deal of protection. It may only seem that AZ has changed something because of several things, 1st, that only a small minority of people have any side effects at all to either the AZ or the P vaccines, but as time goes on, a greater and greater number of people report side effects, and even the mostly well under 10 percent affected grows to sound like an alarming number of affected people, but it really isn't! I will post the government website later--it has the percentages. And 2nd, among those who do have side effects, their reactions differ greatly. My 'not yet' remark above is because the news only a day or two ago reported that AZ are working on tweaking the vaccine to better combat the South African variant of the virus. It does now work against that variant but it is thought that they can improve it. The point is that people really need to behave well for the foreseeable future whether or not they have had their jabs because every jump from person to person gives the constantly reproducing virus yet more chances to mutate and that is not a good thing at all!!!
Kind regards, Ann

Female resting in the box. It looks like a new small pellet close to an older one (front right) that had been expelled sometime overnight, it was there this morning when I checked the cam.
