Thanks, Limpy and Scylla, for the snaps and video. Scylla, your video really made me laugh. Poor Izzy at first could not decide which prey to claim, then must have thought that the newest one was most desirable, then fell over trying to grab a bit from parent and looked to be shouting all the while. I remember Mummy dragging Izzy around and Izzy seems to have developed a keen intention of asserting him/herself.
Kind regards, Ann

Yes, that was quite alarming !!!
05 November
The clouds descended quite suddenly this morning after 06:00:
It looked as tho Diamond was so desperate to find something to feed to Izzi that she tried to pick bits off the failed egg, then went thru scraps on the floor:
Oh you wouldn't believe it (but you would) - I've spent hours, no exaggeration, doing a breakfast video from Cam2 with sound added, got it uploaded at last and then realised I'd forgotten to put the planned captions on it. I've made it Unlisted while I decide whether life's too short or not, but you can see it here and interpret the little nuances for yourselves, cos you've all got such great empathy with our fellow creatures ;) Not that there's anything spectacular here.

Lots of flapping mid-morning:
I'm waiting for the 7th to finish so I can do a prey-drop tally for the day. So I'll have a nap ;)
