Very pleased to add this link to a heart-warming story from BOT which Sandra has posted in main thread but will, of course, disappear very quickly ...

Hi All, thanks for all of your posts and pics. I only received 2 notifications today, both for the same thread, compared with over 30 notifications for over a couple dozen threads a few days ago, and no notifications today for this thread. I had been receiving notifications regularly since the 'upgrade' until now. Very odd.
Kind regards, Ann

Nestcam Diary update:
January 2019
23rd – still the odd sighting of a single bird gracing the barn these days, but much less activity since the temperature dropped a week or so ago. We seem to be missing the worst of the really cold temperatures down here in the south west and haven’t had any appreciable snow as yet – long may it continue!

Evening, Everyone. Notifications seem to be restored, fortunately, although each thread takes ages to appear. Is that due to the big garden bird count traffic?! If so, I won't complain because it might mean more people supporting nature!

Hello Ann, I thought it was my computer being slow!
21:10 No sight nor sound of a BO so far, I've had the cams on since my last posting
22:35 No activity EN/EB Goodnight
Evening, Sandra. I've been going back and forth between RSPB and houses links so have not been here constantly tonight. The next RSPB notification I clicked on after posting here earlier appeared instantly! The site just likes to keep us on our toes. Hope yours behaves for you soon! Hope the Owl/Owls survive the cold weather Temps here in balmy Surrey have been up and down, cold for a few days then well above freezing.
The last CBO sighting I have found was on Thursday the 24th at (very approx !!! ) 17:40hr (after that preening vid), when this owl, which had been on the back beam for an hour-ish, having emerged from the right side, flew out.
Morning all
Thanks for all the info.,Love Scylla's scaps xxx
Ann are you house hunting, or have I misread?
