She has been in box most of the day, just popped out for a break but soon back!
Saw on FB today that Dorset are once again live streaming their Lorton Meadows barn owl box, female in residence on two eggs ..? pic is a bit fuzzy
well spotted Wendy.. re Lorton. I went over she just lifted to reveal eggs, but on wrong lappy to grab a scapdoh!!
He has joined ours , so here we go again.....
and both flown 19.50......

Both now settled down...
We have seen in the past how the male jumping on the female helps to produce an egg ... still a little early by past records though, these stats from last year .......
5 eggs were laid as follows: 1st on 23rd April, 2nd on 26th April, 3rd on 28th April, 4th on 1st May, 5th on 3rd May.
Then the agony started on 25th May!!
