A very happy New Year to the lovely peregrines as well as Cilla and Scott! Diamond is on the ledge:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

IMAGICAT
Afternoon, Scylla. You might want to check out my latest post on the Dyfi thread.
Gorgeous treatment of that lovely capture, by the way.
Nearly ready to fly. Once they have fledged, who/what/where will each of you watch next?! Eagles in Florida? Great Horned Owls in Oklahoma? Or?
Kind regards, Ann
My next cam will undoubtedly be in a magnificent pine forest in northern Scotland. Please let Her Beautifulness make it back.
Clare, Agreed--I, too, hope that she makes it back, but that will not be until late March or early April. Nothing before then?
No. I don't want to find myself glued to another cam when the LG cam goes live. I suspect that quite a lot of us are going to be riveted to that cam when the nest reappears on it.

I've already got the Starr Ranch and Cornish Barn Owls and the Trio Bald Eagles (2 males servicing one female!) on the go, it's no wonder I'm a mess Officer Krupke ;-D
I would love to watch the Skidaway Island GHOW nest, for the gorgeous birdsong around it if nothing else - but it's never been the same since Hurricane Matthew blew off the very tip of the tree, where we were spoiled by close-ups of a huge variety of perchers from ospreys to turkey vultures to herons to bluebirds and everything in between.
Clare, I can just imagine you waiting and staring at your computer screen! But you needn't start that search for EJ until mid March!
LOL, Scylla, didn't know you were on speaking terms with Officer Krupke! Sounds like you have enough cams for now! I know of the CBOs and Starr Ranch but I missed the Trio Bald Eagles--where are they, please?

I've PM'd you, GB :)
