A very happy New Year to the lovely peregrines as well as Cilla and Scott! Diamond is on the ledge:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
1800hr prey-drop from ledge cam.
Not a Starling !!! ;D
Couldn't get much of the feed that followed, but here's Bali getting a bite before Marragaay arrived:
IMAGICAT
There has been a considerable improvement in the cams, in that there are fewer very long blackages. However, the streams are still plagued with multi-freezes.

Today so far, ledge shots to be slotted in later.
Xav brought this in @ 0619hr and left it there - never did see what became of it, tho we can guess that Di turned up and fed the chicks.
EDIT - As predicted, Di came to dish out the meal - but it was frozen out or out of view:

The ledge cam just froze on this, aww :-*
The ledge cam skipped 5 minutes (not frozen, just missing) between 0607 and 0612, during which time a starling appeared, I could just see a tail-end - this was the nest view:
We never found out what happened to it thereafter.
0740hr a new meal arrived.
Most unclear from the nest cam view:

Later one of the chicks dug out a leftover, Diamond intervened and tried to feed it to them.
