I'm very happy to say that the stunning pair of ravens who built a nest on a fire escape at Wellesley College last year have returned for a second season! They are incubating three eggs.
Feast your eyes on this:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Those chicks are getting bigger - and they have gray fuzz and the start of pinfeathers already!

Hi WendyB! Nice vid! I love the black feather colors. Glad you are watching and capturing - aren't they great?
You know that you can watch via Livestream by clicking on the LiveStream icon below, and then there is a pop out where the window can be maximized. :)
They shouldn't be too hot - the weather has been in the 50's F this week.

Thanks for info CC will give Live stream a tryout! May catch a feeding if I'm lucky, be ok if Raven stands to side!
Here's Pauline (I assume) happily brooding the three chicks. :)
Here's a little ravenet off to the right. :)
All three are looking healthy.
Here's Pauline's beautiful feathers and one mouth.
