I'm very happy to say that the stunning pair of ravens who built a nest on a fire escape at Wellesley College last year have returned for a second season! They are incubating three eggs.
Feast your eyes on this:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
The parent is standing in the corridor as if encouraging them to come out. One is still on the nest but the others are just beside it (unseen on the cam).

Unless it is a reflection, one has flown up to perch opposite a parent here. [EDIT: It was a reflection.]
Someone has wandered into the main hall!? There are two in the nest. Nope, thank goodness - think that is a parent - they just hopped onto a bar (fence).
But there is now another wanderer that looks like one of our chicks...
All back and having a flapping session - looking grown up until Dad shows up with food. :) (Then Mom showed up a moment later to feed the third.)
Pile o lovely ravenets.
Still a bit of fuzzy head.
The chicks are curious and exhibiting practice nesting behavior - tugging at nest material and wriggling with twigs.
Srutting his stuff with machismo walk - big pants and macho gait!
