Good morning, all, and welcome to the new year's thread! Let's see what this year will bring for Swift and Beau.
I'm happy to say that Swift is gracing the box with her presence:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Awwww......facing us now:
Thanks Everyone for the pics. I heard Australia is having some record high temperatures--perhaps it is cooler to spend much of the night on the ledge rather than in the corner of the box.
Kind regards, Ann
That's entirely possible, Ann.
In the meantime Beau has arrived:
We've got them both and they're bowing:
Beau has flown and Swift is enjoying a nice preen:
No one at home yet.

The night cam is on and the box is empty.
Nobody home.
There is now:
Well, we have a bird on the ledge but I can't post a capture!
Yay! We're off!
I think it was Beau as the feet were quite yellow - he flew off and almost immediately returned.
He's flown again.
Swift was sitting on the ledge when I first looked at the camera but she has just flown. Beau has now arrived and is looking all around him.
