Hi Sparrow
Love your pictures - love to hear if your Sparrows get the hang of the Guardian feeder.
The female bird looks a little puzzled at the moment
Yes, I can see the feeder will open a large Sparrow 'churrup' debate. I bet they all have a go on the feeder until one works it out, and they all follow suite
The male Sparrow look although he wants the lady of his life to do al the feeder work for him! Lazy boy!

So, last night I wrote:

I haven't seen a sparrow for years
And this morning I saw one!
He was sitting on a tree along the cycle path, not doing anything, just waiting to be seen. It was as if he just wanted to prove me wrong - why do birds always do that? (Not that I'm complaining, mind you...)
The Hampshire Sparrow Survey starts on Monday so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for more.
BB
I see (or rather don't see) my photos have disappeared. I've reloaded them once.
I hope you manage to spot some BB, and attract some to your garden. If they are in your area, and you have conifers or similar bushes - mine also like privet and cotoneaster - they will come if you hang some feeders off the branches.
Cheers, Linda.

I can't see your photos Sparrow :(
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

Hi Bramble,
I can see them now!!! 2 minutes after you couldn't.
There is no pattern with this, as I can see my pics but not yours, and I can see some pics in other posts, but not all. SOOOOOO annoying!
Sarah
And now I can see your pics again but not mine!!!!!
Hooray!! I can see both yours and mine. Lovely pics, My sparrows have not even looked at mine, the bluetits look every day but still have not ventured inside
What a great response this thread has had.
Thanks for the comments and I really like the pictures that have been posted.
I've never seen a Tree Sparrow I don't think...
My video contains a couple juvenile Goldfinches.
