My House Sparrows

Hi,

Iv'e just watched your House Sparrows,it's a really nice piece of filming, good music to go with it too.I like watching them in my garden .

Lovely clip Adam, I will have to see if I can fire up the video camera as my sparrows are also lovely to watch; especially last year when they had fledgelings that used to line up along the fence waiting for food.

Like you Paul they are the first birds I hear every morning and they are such the sweetest little birds.

There singing chirrups sooth the mind, body, and soul.

Right, that's it, I am definitely putting feeders up on my conifer.  I haven't seen a sparrow for years (since I lived in London and they were plentiful) and I'd forgotten what great little birds they are.

On the film about 55 seconds in, there's a bird with yellow bits on its wings sitting on the second port up on the feeder   Is that still a sparrow?

I need to put up my seed feeder as Sparrows liked to use my last one in my garden.  They perched for hours gobbling up the seed

What lovely photos Bramble. I hope you get some more babies this year - and I have everything crossed that I do. My gang are singing away all day, grabbing a bite to eat,  having committee meetings on the top of the hedges, and doing their level best to get inside the guardian feeder but failing miserably!!!
