Hi All
The popular BBC wildlife series ‘Springwatch’ is back and will be live from the RSPB’s Ynys-hir nature reserve near Machynlleth in mid-Wales this year. It will be coming to you on Monday 28 May and the webcams are now live.
Check them out.
We hope you all enjoy the show for the next few weeks
RSPB Mods
Why not check out the news from the wildlife enquiries team?
Sorry Mods for the mess I've managed to make of this thread! Not quite sure what happened! Can delete both posts if it helps?

I think they must have been listening to the feedback. A great improvement with much more focus on the wildlife and less on the presenters. Good start. Looking forward to tonight's episode. Might we see the osprey chicks hatching?

Great show already tonight, the Kingfisher footage is wonderful and the Pine Martin story is very interesting, what does everyone think?
I enjoyed it very much, apart from the stuffed Pine Marten! The Kingfisher footage was brilliant, how strange that they make their nests with broken-up regurgitated pellets. I enjoyed the film of the foxes, is that really one litter or have two vixens pooled their resources?
It definitely makes a better programme to concentrate more on the wildlife and not so much on the presenters, easy to do that at the moment perhaps, with nice weather and plenty happening.
I'm rooting for Runty!!
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
More good stuff this evening, amazing to see the wood warblers at the nest, that's definitely one to follow. Nail biting times for the Dyfi ospreys, hope to see three hungry chicks in the nest by tomorrow.
Top discussion points, pine martens in Wales - mistaken identity or the return of a woodland phantom?
Chris's soccer analogy, does runty have more chance than England to make it to the respective finals! What do you think?

Thought tonight's show was good, nice to see little "Runty" the nut hatch getting some of the food.
Surprised that Chris has not looked on the Osprey website for the length of time when the osprey chicks comes out.
As for England, we will have to wait and see if they can play football.

Additional Coverage tonight with the start of this years "Unsprung" straight after the main Program :)

Are there any other David Bowie fans out there that have noticed that Chris P is dropping various song titles into the general conversation? Noticeable ones have been so far: 'Prettiest Star', 'Starman', 'Cygnet Committee' and last night 'Unwashed and somewhat slightly dazed'. Reckon someone on the team has a bet on with him.
