Hello everyone,
Well we are nearly there! With less than 4 days to go, who is excited about Springwatch? We here at the RSPB cannot wait, as this year it is coming from our beautiful reserve in Wales, Ynys-Hir. So why not check out the reserve homepage, Blog, and forum to chat about Springwatch with the RSPB. For the next 3 weeks we will be chatting about Red Kites, Herons, Little egrets and Pied flycatchers, to name but a few. So come and join in!

:) Up for a trip, the only mullet you'd catch me near is oven baked. Possibly the tshirt though.
doesn't look good for the pied fly's, holding out more hope for the barn owls though, they seem to have got it sussed. Hope the rain holds off for them! Should be good to see what Iolo has to say today, some more gull v puffin footage I suspect
Warden Intern at Otmoor.
i was wrong, no more gull action, today anyway, but plenty of puffins! Great to see some short-eared owls, awesome birds. The youngster swallowing the vole was something else, what a beakful!
What are your highlights so far?
Really enjoyed the young surfers film (Sorry, can't remember his name.)
and the very brief look at the Redstarts nest,
