Hello everyone,
Well we are nearly there! With less than 4 days to go, who is excited about Springwatch? We here at the RSPB cannot wait, as this year it is coming from our beautiful reserve in Wales, Ynys-Hir. So why not check out the reserve homepage, Blog, and forum to chat about Springwatch with the RSPB. For the next 3 weeks we will be chatting about Red Kites, Herons, Little egrets and Pied flycatchers, to name but a few. So come and join in!

Unknown said: Just finished watching the first episode of springwatch as I was on a late shift for work. Cracking beginning to it this year, and for me, springwatch brings new excitement for me to watch it now I have such a passion for bird watching and photographing them. The Redstarts, flycatcher, and BoP look amazing! I have also sorted out my flickr account, and hoping to upload a for of my shots to their dedicated page on there for wildlife. I have added the link to my profile page (but there is only one photo on there as it was a test) if you want to look. Bring on tomorrow night at 8pm :D Kind regards Chappers (and the Wife.)

Hey there Ponty,
LOL, you noticed eh :)
I've been looking to find a pic to use and I might just have to use that one (once I have cropped) for on here too. But yes, I thought it was very uncanny.
Going to add more photo's to my flickr page once I have sorted out which one I want to add. And thinking of adding some of my pic's to the Spring watch flickr page too. But not sure they are good enough.....Hope some other members on here will join me on flickr too :)

Episode 2 turned out to be a little bit gory in one or two places, but was still well worth watching.
I was pleased to see the advice given on what to do when finding baby birds
Best wishes Chris
