One Million Snakebites on BBC2 at 9pm this evening.
It gets a good write up in the Radio Times. :-)
Best wishes Chris

Absolutely superb program! What wonderful work the father & son do there! Absolutely loved the King Cobra! What a beauty! They were all beautiful snakes though!

Not for me! Although I love all creatures and agree that snakes are fascinating, try as I do I just CANNOT watch them on film. I even have trouble looking at a picture of one. A friend once took me to a zoo Reptile house to try and conquer my fear. Well, I was fine with the amphibians and the lizards but once we neared the snake section I lost it completely and had to be lead out of the building in tears with my eyes closed!

From the account my 14 yr old son gave me about this programme this morning I am almost glad I missed it. I think he may have embelished some bits for my benefit though! eugh!

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

I watched this programme today, and thought it was excellent.
I was amazed how many snakes they handled to produce anti-venom from, and how beautiful most of them were.
The king cobra was magnificent. :-)
