    Hi Andy

    Thank you for the reminder.

It was a fabulous programme to watch and I felt so sorry for Little Hope trying her best to be strong

When Gordon first came face to face with the Black Bear mum I could feel myself on the edge of the seat.  Gordon's face just said it all - he was terrified at the thought of confronting the bear and who could blame him.

As the programme progressed the experience and dynamics of the realtionshp between Gordon and the Bear changed to a closeness that I have never seen on TV or anywhere else.

So interesting, and it is good that we have been left with a cliff hanger until 9pm tomorrow night.

    Regards

  • Hi Blackbird

    Cheers

  • Very good programme can't wait for tomorrow's showing. Disturbingly emotional at times.

    Sue

  • It was a real cracker and seems like the programme made itself, if you know what I mean.

    Night-night!

    Part 2 9-10pm BBC 2 tonight

Gordon was a lot more relaxed on this programme.  It was good for his family to met the bears too - all children would be fasinated at a live Bear

I felt so much for Hope having being rejected by her mum.  Nature can be so cruel but what a survivor that Hope has turned into - a little fighter :-O

It will be interesting to see what the radio collar on Hopes neck produces on the next programme

I think tomorrows programme will be a little more disturbing as it is Bear hunting season.  The human gun slingers are out to play once more. :C

We shall see how it all ends ... and let it be a happy ending, pleaaaseeee..... :t:

  • I've watched it.

Buchanan is a very good wildlife cameraman.

I felt uncomfortable abou it, tho'.....

They are wild animals. I get the bit about getting close to them, physcially.
But they are wild animals. If one human feeds them, they will expect all humans to feed them and go up to them, looking for food.

If a large, black bear starts heading towards me the first thing I would do is run!

    Or is that just me?
