Walk in the park.

Aye folks

The sun was shining today but temps in the shade were still in single figures so needless to say I still had a jacket with me.

Saw some great birds But with the camrea I have Im not that good at taking any photos of them yet It has no Vuefinder just the screen on the back .

Anyway here are a couple of photos . The one of the heron was Didgiscoped (Camera works good on that)

Cheers

  • The blossom down this way has not long come to cheer us up, the dusty pink in the pic looks so soft + fluffy. Loved being in Kent + the birds esp the warm weather - too many folk for my liking. Will be up Aberdeenshire (I really really hope) for a bit in the Eng school summer hols - Forvie here we come, as long a Trump hasn't got there 1st!!!!!!!!!

Al like you my pics aren't that good for the birds - think I'd need a golden eagle 1/2m away to be a decent size in the frame or in focus!! LOL!!

  • Saw the Osprey again today but couldent get a photo of it did manage theese though.

couple of them are a wee bit grainey but all were taken through my Scope.

It was such a beautiful day down there today  was nice to feel the warmth of the sun. I think thats a Chaffinch sitting on the Whin bush. and a Common Gull standing on a rock in the middle of the river . The one I realy like is the Hatch of flys around the whin bush . without the bins or scope it looked like whisps of smoke.

  • Hi AL,

Looks like a lovely warm sunny day for you today.  Sorry you didn't get the Ospreys.  Is a whin bush the same as a gorse bush to us southeners?  I love the smell of gorse I could sit for hours just taking the scent in.  I agree with your last photo, I like it very much, very effective, looks like pebbledash on glass.

  • lol Aye Kezmo its the same thing I forget sometimes that not everybody calls them Whins. Sorry bout that.

And thankyou Im real glad ye liked the photo :)

    Cheers

  • Hi Al

Some nice pictures from you at last. I also like the blossom that shows the bright blue sky. Thank you.

You don't necessarily need a viewfinder if you have a screen. I would just click away and get what you can :-)

    Best wishes Chris
