Put a huge smile on my face!
Jimbob
That is a welcome sight. Now we know Spring is truly on the way and they seem to have timed their arrival perfectly with the recent improvement in the weather. I guess it will take a while, though, for them to reach you in the Mull of Kintyre.

Hi Jimbob
Yes nice shots indeed. Are any of your fabulous raptor shots on there?
Best wishes Chris

Some great photos there, thanks for the link Jimbob.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
That's great news! Although I thought that there were a few resident pairs that overwintered in Cornwall...

Super! I will keep my eyes peeled :-)
ps - I see you have called your thread "Welcome Visitors" - in Australia they call the birds "Welcome Swallows" which is very apt. I'll post a picture later.
There is something new to learn everyday...

http://birdguides.com/iris/profile.asp?u=71077 that's my birdguides profile Chris, right from the very beginning!
MarJus, wow! I certainly never knew that! How on earth did they manage to get through that Winter?!
Well I'm not sure whether they stayed this year! They may have thought better of it when the weather did turn, but certainly there have been over-wintering birds there in the past!
Hi Jim
Thank you for adding that birding sparkle to my day.
I have just been out out in the garden and there is a definate warmer feeler now.
I love your photographs on your 'Iris profile' and it just proves how much we all love our birds.
Will have a look every so often
regards
Kathy and Dave
One swallow doth not... but it's enough for now! Thanks for the link. It really does show spring has sprung.
