I have a Canon EOS 400D and I'm wanting a macro lense for insect photography (particularly butterflies and moths). I was wondering if anyone could suggest what lense I should be looking at getting for this type of photography and if anyone has any experiences with using the various lenses they have on offer (photos to show results would be great too). Something that has other uses would be good, but not necessarily essential as I have other lenses to use.
Any help is much appreciated as the lenses aren't cheap and I don't want to buy myself the wrong one!
