And now a few wild flowers
All the pictures of the wild flowers were on my walk alongside the fields.
Aww I sooo long to see a yellowhammer. Nice sightings on your walk ILR
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
I've not seen yellowhammers in years and I don't remember seeing a swallow on anything that wasn't man made either. Nice selection ILR, I like your silhouette as well
Thank you Linda it’s funny when I do this walk I usually see one they must look out for me Lol
Thank you Snappy I must be just lucky and thank you for your nice comments
Those wildflowers are stunning, we've nowhere around here like that, unfortunately. The silhouette is fab, and it's a long time since I've seen a Yellowhammer too...you must be hogging them lol That looks like a blue on the thistle, Holly possibly? Lovely set overall ILR, thanks for sharing :o)
A lovely set of photos ILR, and what a nice end to the post with all those poppies.

I did, particularly the poppies. They reminded me of the week in Norfolk, which was abound with poppies.
Digressing, and I'm sure you'll appreciate this, if you do a search on Poppyland in Norfolk, apart from that fabulous tearoom which Mrs PR and myself found absolutely fabulous, it's the overall abundance of poppies in Norfolk generally. Some fascinating stuff.
I intend to visit Norfolk Mike probably in the spring next year and thank you re the tip poppiyland
