Up to last week I had never seen a Bearded Tit, only heard them. Wonderful little birds.
I got up early and went to RSPB Minsmere and set up in the Island Mere hide. I sat watching the sun rise over the marshes and reed beds which was spectacular. A real crisp frosty morning. Set the camera up on the tripod and awaited to see what would show. To my great delight this Bearded Tit appeared for breakfast in the morning glow.
I had achieved my wish not only to see one of these beautiful little birds but to photograph one too. I was happy !
