They have a big barn with comfortable seats, drinks and snacks available... I think you can go for a walk within the farm, but we chose to sit in the barn and wait for the kites as we had already been to an RSPB site down the road and unbelievably it was very hot....

Although they put the feed out at 2pm, the kites still hadn't fed at 5pm. Apparently it can vary when they feed and it's probably best to contact them to find out roughly when they are likely to before visiting.

We didn't get to see them feed, but amazing to see so many flying at the same time.

That's where I saw the redkite on way home...close to the junction for the RedKite Trail!!!!....I shall return to Dumfries and Galloway...again!!
