A lot of young ILR and plenty of variety. The Robin is always reliable for a portrait :)

Thanks Linda, when we got there at the hide there was nothing for the birds to eat they had no feed left, I asked in the reception if they had stopped feeding the birds in the summer months and I was told they had fed them early in the morning but they had eaten it all. Well I had some sunflower hearts in the car and gave them to the lady who normally feeds them and she put some feed on the areas we asked and she even cleared some of the obstructions -vegitation so we could photograph the birds better. How good was that, we thanked her of course and I even bought a new bird book that had been reduced in the shop. Good value too. The other hide was directed at the lake no feeders required at this Hide so after we had finished taking photos it was back to the Cafe for a cup of tea and the customary bacon sandwich. All in all a good day out.
