Dragonflys and damselflys 2023

Today saw the arrival of a Male Wide Bodied Chaser ( I think it is a male).  Had to get a photo or two of it.  Hopefully sharper images when I get my new lens.

Seems like a pretty sharp image to me Ed but then I'm not a purist, would have been pleased to get one like it myself!

Great shots. Like number 2 a lot and number three is really good colouring.

Hi Wendy. Thank you. I have seen so many sharper images when looking around in this forum and at other web sites so I would like to try and match these. It is all part of my learning process. But then I seem never to be happy with my own photos. ;-)

A female Broad bodied Chaser is back at the pond again.  Looking forward to seeing more dragonflies arriving soon.
