there was lots of gorse
sika deer peeping through the woodland clearing
we came across a pool in the middle of the woods
here we found water skaters mateing, water beetles and palmate newts
afterwards we went into the gift shop then had an ice cream and it was time to go
I didn’t see any dartford warblers or Sand lizards but I did see a deer and some newts
