An afternoon spent at a nature reserve that I had not been to before.

Thank you SM and the only one I don’t see is the Muntjac. I was really lucky to see the deer, as it was my first time to this Reserve. I had just asked one of the regulars if there were any deer here and he said yes but usually first thing and the end of the day. Less than five minutes of asking an opening in the hedgerow led me up a short path to an open field. The binoculars were used to scan the field hoping to see something and no joy, but at the end of the field there was a wire fence and beyond the fence was a wooded area, then I spotted a tree move and looking a bit closer was the Red Deer. How lucky was that. It stayed munching the tree branches for around three or four minutes then disappeared into the wood. Thanks for viewing SM.
