  • Incredible photos! To get such quality photos and such a variety, I'm very jealous :)
I visited St Aidans for first time and saw the black necked grebes and they are very striking- the mum was carrying chicks on her back for the male to feed so quite a sight! Never seen one before either, heard there are a few pairs around there which is great to hear as they seem very rare.
Would have loved to see the little owl, great photos. Heard they are supposed to be not far from the entrance but no luck that time. Quite a way from me to visit but will definately be back sometime!
  • Thank you for your feedback I am so glad you liked them, St Aidans is a fabulous reserve and I visit quite a lot, I am lucky I only live around fifteen minutes away in the car. I have posted lots of photos on here from St Aidans and it usually comes up with a few surprises of birds I have not seen before. Thanks again for viewing.
