Whats new today ?

Oh well spotted with the Little Owl ILR...lovely Shoveler pic...seemed we all had a bright day with plenty to be seen....
A new site am guessing?? Was well worth visiting...thanks for sharing ;-)

Hi Linda No it was St Aidans, but had a good time, I didn’t spot the Owl it was pointed out to me, It’s been there for ages but normally is hiding in some railway sleepers I have only seen it twice. I saw another Kestrel but failed again with the photos a bit too far away and not good enough to use.
It’s forecast rain in Scotland again and I think we are getting it later today.

Looks like you had a good trip, with plenty to photograph. I have never seen a Little Owl in the wild, on my list of birds I would like to see :)

It was a good trip out and a nice day just a little disappointed I couldn’t have got a better photo of the Little Owl, maybe next time.
