Thanks ILR. It was the 1st time we had seen the Crested Tit in the UK. We had previously only seen them in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme France, they were often in the garden where we were staying.
Cracking photos SnappyMac, and you're now teasing me, because I've a long wait until my next Scotland trip....
I've only ever driven past Perth, on the way to Kingussie, but the photos I've seen suggest its a place to visit.
Your buff tailed bumblebee, looks more like a white tailed bumblebee, with the white on the tail. But I could easily be wrong, and I'm sure I will be corrected.
