I brought my swimming cloathes and goggles with me and I got my crabbing equipment ready for when I go crabbing

then Mum picked me up  I told Mum I packed my goggles and swim cloathes ready. she laughed and told me there isn’t a beach but theres woods So I found out that I got the wrong place. I said oh well at least I got them anyway. I said when are we going crabbing and she said it’s not today. At least  I can go in the woods on the trip

I had one of these fellas on my sock from some time ago

  • No paddling, but plenty of foraging, I do love a woodland walk, and nice to see a seed head making the best of whatever means it can to spread its genes far and wide, attaching itself to human clothing...

I'm curious on the red kite question, so it will be interesting to see what answers transpire, because the info will be widely available on the open web, however, the more sensitive locations may not be so easily found.

I have seen your part 2 and will read and respond in due course.

  • Yes I found it quiet funny that I packed the wrong thing for the wrong place. I don’t think you can go crabbing and find crabs in woodland. or even go in the sea. But there’s lots to see in Woodland there’s lots of different types of birds, Wildlife and Wild plants and you can even see Birds of prey. Also weather you Wildlife watch or take pictures or not there’s nothing like going for a walk through the Woods. Yes it had lots of little hook like things that help it attach to things. Yes I’m very curious about that aswell. I think it’s definitely worth asking. How I found out my BTO representative is part of the raptor monitoring sceme was cause even though you don’t have to join a group or anything to submit sightings aswell as submitting your sightings I found out they also have something that looked abit like a club you can do if you wanted to by contacting the scheme through the app asking for details about where it is. But Cause my BTO representative is also part of the bird of prey monitering scheme I ended up contacting him about it unknowingly. He came back to me and told me he it isn’t a club as such but he holds groups where he takes them around to places he knows where you can spot different types of birds of prey and you can take pictures for example one was Goshawk viewing. Then he told me coincidentally he is also my BTO representative. I think its very convenient haveing a BTO representative who is also part of the Bird of prey monitering scheme. I didn’t know where you can find Red Kites in Gloucestershire until he replyed and thanked me for my sighting. I found it very helpful. He told me he encourages people to look out for birds of prey anywhere in the county and to report them
